Rebekah Gentz

Children’s Ministry Director

Rebekah Gentz joined SCC in June 2022 as Children’s Ministry Director. She has been working in education for the past 7 years with experience ranging from infants to upper elementary. She earned an AA degree in both Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education from NJC. She is currently enrolled at Colorado Chrisitan University to finish her licensure program for a BA in Elementary Education with a minor in Biblical Studies. Growing up, she moved around often due to her father’s service in the US Army and spent half of her childhood living in Germany. She has volunteered with different youth programs such as Cadence International, Club Beyond, and Young Life. Rebekah has lived in Colorado Springs for the past 2 years moving from Sterling, CO where her grandfather runs their family farm. She is a proud dog mom to Bonnie, Clyde and Nala. When not at SCC, Rebekah teaches Pre-Kindergarten at a local mission that serves lower income families. She enjoys hunting, fishing, kayaking, and anything else to get her out of the city and into the country.
