Jonathon "JT" Reece

Director of Community Engagement

Jonathon (or JT if you prefer) felt a call to ministry at a young age and pursued that call by earning a BA in Christian Ministry from Azusa Pacific University and then an M.Div. and an M.A. in Christian Education and Formation from Princeton Theological Seminary. While there, he met Jessica, whom he married in August 2020, just after graduation. JT served in volunteer community development positions throughout grad school before working after graduation with refugees at Bethany Christian Service’s Transitional Living Center. He is passionate about working with people of different cultures, and loves teaching people about the beauty and uniqueness of all the cultures he has experienced. In his spare time, JT loves playing strategy board and video games, woodworking, cooking, hiking and running anywhere in the mountains, and even busting out the occasional salsa move.
