Dr. Eric Carpenter

Lead Pastor

Pastor Eric Carpenter is Lead Pastor of Springs Community Church. Eric served for three years in social work (drug and alcohol prevention/crisis counseling) before attending Fuller Theological Seminary where he received his Masters of Divinity and was ordained by the Reformed Church in America. He received a Doctorate of Ministry in 2026, with studies focused on Spiritual Formation and Spiritual Direction. His dissertation was titled “Seven Ways We Are Formed by the Spirit.”

Previously Eric served as campus staff for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, a church planter in Southern California, and Pastor of Outreach and Discipleship at East Lake Church in Chula Vista, California, and Beechwood Community Church in Holland, Michigan.

Eric has authored the book Jesus' Big Idea and is passionate about the Kingdom of Heaven in the here and now, and the ministry of the Holy Spirit in the lives of individuals and communities.  Eric and his wife, Kyndra, have three children: Luke, Cambria and Paige. They enjoy spending time together in the beautiful Colorado outdoors.
